My Halloween shenanigans started with a bang on Friday night with my dGi fam at Yoni Goldberg’s Annual Halloween Party.
Sh*t was off the chain as usual! With a lineup that included Rev Run and myself, Jesse Marco and one special guest that NOBODY expected. Mr Stanley Kirk Burrell aka MC HAMMER.
Yep! MC HAMMER. He KILLED IT! and had the crowd jumping.
Shout out to Yoni and dGi – I’m already looking forward to next year.

I came across Aaron K‘s Model Student story on Tumblr last night and had to post it. It definitely has to be one of the best fashion spreads I’ve seen this year, with a pretty controversial edge.
“The aim for this shoot was to draw attention to the fact that young high-school age girls are regularly portrayed as more mature, sexually assertive women by the fashion industry. I find this kind of deception both intriguing and, in some cases, quite disturbing (particularly when models under the age of 16 are involved),”

This track has been around for a hot minute, but I’m only just getting round to the video.
Straight from SBTRKT’s self-titled debut album: Wildfire (You may have also heard Drake’s sick verse on it), features the silky smooth vocals of Little Dragon’s Yukimi Nagano. The video focuses on a woman sweating in a room of intense heat – so much so that heat unglues the wall paper). Set to a true dubstep wobble, the video is a definite “must watch”.
The future is officially here in the form of the SICK Nike Mags.

Y’all know I’m a fan of time lapse videos – but this one? This one is NEXT LEVEL.
Which is pretty appropriate considering it was shot and produced by Next Level Pictures. Armed with a Phantom Flex camera they captured all BK footage over 8 hours…break-dancers, basketball players, skateboarders and kids playing with open fire hydrants, all classic Brooklyn activities set to the ridiculously surreal and bass heavy Where You Should Be feat Sam Frank…a SKREAM classic.
